IU Bloomington faculty, staff, and students have access to Early Childhood Education Services (ECES), which includes three child care centers and two cooperative programs. These centers provide year-round care for children ages six weeks to five years.
IU-affiliated families receive priority enrollment, especially for infant and toddler care. Non-affiliated families are considered only after IU waitlists are fully addressed.

You may be eligible for financial assistance based on your family’s income and needs:
Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) Vouchers: Families meeting income eligibility may apply for CCDF vouchers (Child Care Development Fund). All three IUB childcare programs accept CCDF vouchers.
On My Way Pre-K: Families meeting income eligibility with a child (or children) aged four by August 1st may be eligible for On My Way PreK.
IU Working Moms’ Group: This staff-led group offers community, support, and helpful parenting resources. To join, email Amanda Peterson. The Facebook group is a great resource for trading baby clothes, sharing daycare openings, and other parenting tips or concerns. More resources are available at Healthy IU.
