This is a two-year faculty leadership development program designed to provide robust leadership training and mentorship for a faculty member from the arts, humanities, or humanistic social sciences who is poised or has become a national or international leader in their field and who is interested in learning more about academic administration. The program is a collaborative effort of the Mellon Foundation, the Big Ten Academic Alliance, and Indiana University.

Fellows should ideally be at the advanced associate or full professor level (or comparable non-tenure line career stage) and have some academic administration experience. This fellowship is designed to provide fellows with extensive formal training in academic leadership, opportunities for mentors within and beyond the university, and a year-long opportunity to work with the Provost on an administrative project.
