This workshop is designed for tenure-track faculty who are just completing their third or fourth year of the probationary period (invitations have also been sent to those in their fifth year to accommodate individual timelines) and for any department chairs or associate deans who have upcoming tenure cases if they have not attended in the last few years. The program focuses on the sequential layers of the tenure review process; preparation of the tenure dossier; use of the eDossier system; solicitation of external letters; writing the candidate’s statement; and documentation of research/creative activity, teaching, and service/engagement.
Before the workshop, We encourage you to prepare for the Workshop by reviewing the campus-level Guidelines for Tenure and Promotion Reviews: https://vpfaa.indiana.edu/faculty-affairs/tenure-promotion/tenure-track/index.html
Invite your chair (or associate dean, in non-departmentalized schools) to accompany you, especially if they haven't yet had the opportunity to manage a tenure review.
Ample time will be provided for Q & A.
Please RSVP using the form below.
