This workshop is designed for tenure-track faculty who are just completing their third or fourth year of the probationary period (invitations have also been sent to those in their fifth year, just in case). The program focuses on the sequential layers of the tenure review process; preparation of the tenure dossier; use of the new eDossier system; solicitation of external letters; writing the candidate’s statement; and documentation of research/creative activity, teaching and service/engagement.
You are encouraged to take a look, before the Workshop, at the revised campus-level Guidelines for Tenure and Promotion Reviews: http://www.indiana.edu/~vpfaa/docs/promotion_tenure_reappointment/pt-revised-review-guidelines.pdf .
Also, you might want to invite your chair (or associate dean, in non-departmentalized schools) to accompany you — especially if they haven't yet had the opportunity to manage a tenure review.
There will be ample time for Q&A.
