The Distinguished Faculty Research Award, co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President and IU Research, recognizes the achievements of an IU Bloomington faculty member whose research makes important contributions to society.
This year’s recipient is Halina Goldberg, professor in the Jacobs School of Music and Hamilton Lugar School.
The award is accompanied by a public lecture delivered by the honoree. Goldberg’s lecture, "The Dancing Jew” in Polish Culture: Between Phantasm and Practice, will take place Sept. 15 at the IU Cinema.
