Program Goals:
-respond to expressed faculty interest in having extensive, regular blocks of time devoted to writing;
-provide structure and accountability for faculty writing;
-provide writing support;
-provide a quiet, collegial, and supportive atmosphere for faculty writing;
-build a community of faculty writers on campus.
Eligibility:
-Those with full-time IU appointments at any rank are eligible to participate, but we ask that currently enrolled IU graduate students working on their theses apply to the WTS dissertation groups instead.
-Priority will be given to tenure-track assistant and associate professors.
Meeting Times and Resources:
Canvas will be used to allow each participant to sign up for a group time that fits his/her schedule. Once applications have been collected and reviewed, those eligible to join a group will be invited to a Canvas site via email. That email will detail when and how you may sign up for a specific writing group time.
