Genevieve is committed to supporting faculty writing across disciplines and at any stage in the writing process. In addition to administering the Faculty Writing Groups, which offer community and accountability in writing, she offers one-on-one consultations, organizes peer review groups, and offers cross-campus workshops on issues related to research and writing.

She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Southern Maine and has decades of experience teaching scholarly writing and consulting with faculty and on grant proposals, conference presentations, articles, and book manuscripts. Her own writing and research focuses on focuses on how metaphors and their associated narratives shape our experiences of animals and environments.
