As director of faculty development and recruitment, Cindy’s responsibilities include the development, coordination, and implementation of projects related to the strategic recruitment and retention priorities of the Provost and Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs. Strategic projects include faculty hiring initiatives, dual career and strategic hiring programs, faculty retention initiatives, and internal and external faculty award facilitation.
Cindy holds a Ph.D. in higher education from Indiana University Bloomington and a master’s degree in non-profit administration from the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame. Her research focuses on faculty affairs particularly the promotion and development of faculty throughout their careers and the historical development of the faculty in American higher education.
