Provost Professorship

Provost Professor Award

Honoring faculty achievement

The Provost Professorship is given each year by the Office of the Provost and the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs. It is intended to bring significant honor to faculty who have achieved local, national, and international distinction in both teaching and research/creative activity.

Faculty selected for Provost Professorships will carry the title for the remainder of their careers at Indiana University. The winner(s) will also be given a $5,000 award for each of the first three years, and a $5,000 grant to be used on a project of their choice to demonstrate the ways in which teaching and research are mutually reinforcing.
