Available rentals

House: Very charming 2-bedroom house in the historic Prospect Hill neighborhood available for rent in early October. The house features an adorable porch and beautifully maintained garden by the landlord on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. Large kitchen has all the space you would ever need and the washer and dryer are located just off the kitchen in the breezeway that connects the garage to the house. Although there is plenty of free parking on the street, the garage is a wonderful plus, especially in cold weather. It is possible that the house could be partially furnished. Possible move-in date is as early as the first week of October 2018 onward. Tenant will be responsible for all bills (electric, gas, water). Campus is an easy 20 minute walk through downtown, with trendy new coffee shops, Bloomingfoods Co-op, and the Farmers’ Market all within a few blocks.

Apartment: Temporary furnished studio available daily, weekly or monthly. The studio has a private entrance with a TV room/living space, an adjacent private bedroom with private full bathroom, and work space. No kitchen, however, there is a kitchenette area with a toaster oven, electric water heater, microwave, mini fridge, dishes, etc. The studio is situated on the ground/street level of a split-level home. You will have the lower level to yourself (except for garage, which is not available). This east side home has been recently renovated and is a short walking distance to Indiana University (the main library is approximately a 7-10 min. walk), downtown (20 min. walk), and east side shopping and restaurants (5-10 min. walk). The space has a queen size bed, night table, a futon, dresser, mini closet, bistro table with chairs, desk, couch, TV with cable, mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, plates, utensils. Rate includes wi-fi, cable, parking, and trash. Towels and linens are provided. Does not include laundry privileges. Interaction with guests: A small family, plus a dog, live upstairs. We will be available to welcome you and if you need anything, but we will respect your privacy and will keep to ourselves. Other things to note: There is no door between lower level and upper level, please be respectful of the boundaries of your space. Townhouse: My name is Chris and I am an Indiana University faculty member. I will be on sabbatical for the 2018-2019 school year and am putting my house up for rent from August 15th, 2018 until May 31st, 2019. For full information, please visit my webpage via URL provided. My house is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhouse that shares a wall with another townhouse. The home is two floors totaling over 2400 square feet as well as a two-car garage. The home is fully furnished as seen in the pictures. The home is a five-minute drive from Indiana University and downtown Bloomington. The home is walking distance to an elementary school, a Kroger, and several restaurants. The home is four years old. It features bamboo wood floors throughout the top floor and carpeting through the downstairs floor. The upstairs has a living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, master bedroom, master bathroom, guest bedroom (currently used as a home gym) and full guest bathroom. The downstairs is a completed walkout basement with a large living space, bedroom, and bathroom. The home is located in a small condo community called Stonelake, named for the quarry-pond at the front of our community.
