Kimberly is dedicated to guiding faculty members toward professional milestones at every phase of the career trajectory and in managing the challenges that may arise along the way. Prior to joining OVPFAA, she served eight years as director of Hispanic linguistics, a year as interim chair, and five years as associate chair of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese in the College of Arts and Sciences.
She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona, and her research focuses on the second language acquisition of the geographic, social, and situationally variable properties of language.
