The apartment is one block from a bus stop (route #2), the B-line, Cardinal Spirits, and Hopscotch Coffee, and 10-15 minute walking to downtown. Pets are not allowed. There is parking on premises. Available spring semester 2018. Two furnished bedrooms in a one-floor, three-bedroom house in quiet, suburban, IU faculty neighborhood. Close to College Mall, grocery stores, restaurants, and movie theater. One room is 14x11 ft ($500). Smaller room is 13.5x10 ft. ($475). Renters share a bathroom. Campus bus route 3 blocks down on College Mall Road or a car can be parked in the driveway. Some residents have opted to walk or ride their bike to campus. The Henderson House: furnished sabbatical rental Spring Semester 2018. Built in 1835 and recently restored, this is one of Bloomington’s oldest homes, with hardwood floors, brick interior walls, set in large lawn with huge old trees. Right on the B-line, one of Bloomington's main walking/biking trails; 1.2 miles from IU, half a mile from downtown, two blocks from a grocery store, and just yards from Hopscotch (the best coffee in town) and Cardinal Spirits (a local distillery with a great deck). The house has two living rooms, easily tailored as social and work spaces. The kitchen and dining area run across the back of the house.
